Course Objectives The course will provide participants opportunities to develop and demonstrate knowledge and understanding, skills, qualities and other attributes in the following:-Principles and practices within Computer Games Technology; Areas of Computer Games Technology and its applications; Range of tools and techniques used in the development of Computer Games Technology; Write critiques and develop a major piece of work in the Computer Games Technology; Current research issues in the relevant aspects of Computer Games Technology and Developed research methodology skills.

Module 2: Architecture & Design of Gaming

Module 3: Games Mechanics

Module 4: Game Design and Analysis

Module 5: The IQ of Serious Games

Module 6: The Business of Gaming

Module 7: OO Programming in C++

Module 8: Future of Digital Creativity & Multimedia

Module 9: Industrial Internship/Final Project

Course Fee SG$12,000 + Administrative fee of $100
Admission Criteria

ADVANCED LEVEL

Minimum 2 GCE “A” Level Passes (including at least a C6 for General Paper or C6 for English as first language for GCE “O” Level) with or without working experience

Applicant who is unable to demonstrate the above mentioned English proficiency is required to take our ERC Institute’s English Placement Test


Applicants should possess either of the following(s):

Diploma in Game Design and Development awarded by ERC Institute

Higher Nitec (2-year duration) from the Institute of Technical Education) in one of the following disciplines: -Information Technology; – Wireless Technology

Candidates will be required to do Advanced Integrated Programme (AIP) if they possess Diploma in other principles
